ComRes launched an IOS app for its CloudTalk VoIP phone service last month. This app extends the functionality of its cloud-based phone service to a user’s Apple smartphone. Besides being able to access many of the normal features provided by ComRes’ CloudTalk VoIP service, the app allows users to:
* Make calls from their Apple smartphones using their cell phone or CloudTalk directories while displaying their company Caller ID to others rather than their cell phone.
* Receive calls seamlessly on their CloudTalk desk phone or smartphone
* Setup and use audioconferencing bridges
* Check voice mail
* View call history
Mobile apps are part of ComRes’ strategy to provide mobility for its customers and allow them a greater choice of devices to communicate between customers, vendors and other employees. ComRes is offering free trials of this app on a limited basis to its customers, and plans on extending it to Android users in the 2nd quarter.
